Amanda and Kyle’s wedding was out of my typical style, which was so refreshing for me to experiment with. I’m used to mountainous, intimate events – while this event was an urban, rooftop party – and I had such a blast.

Amanda and Kyle’s love was so unique and beautiful. It was so clear that beyond the love they shared (which is such a sweet, deep love), they had so many friends and family that truly thought the world them. Throughout the entire day, I continuously heard conversations and comments about how amazing the two of them were as individuals and how perfect they were for each other. The sunflowers and bright bouquets truly reflected the cheery attitude of their day. How cute were their sunflower bouquets?!
Officiant: Scott Stevens
Bridesmaid Dresses: David’s Bridal
Flowers: Local Farmers Market
Groom & Groomsmen attire: Men’s Warehouse
We knew a main priority for photos would be snapping those sunset rooftop couple shots. I think we were all equally excited about finding the perfect spot for some snuggles, loving and skyline photos.
Let me tell you guys.. this event was a PARTY. There is something about being at a rooftop in Charlotte with city lights surrounding you that is just LIT (yes, I said lit). We had so much fun celebrating the love these two shared.
Venue and Catering: Holiday Inn Charlotte City Center
Event Planner: Kat Wrona
DJ/Lighting/Effects: Split Second Sound, Jonah
Cake: Ella’s Celestial Cakery
The day before their wedding, I had the opportunity to also photograph their rehearsal dinner! This is not something I typically do, so having an opportunity to meet so many of Amanda & Kyle’s friends and families before their wedding day made the day of a lot of fun for me. These two clearly have so many amazing people in their lives who love and support them whole heartedly.
Okay… how cute are they?! And.. that’s a wrap!
