Last Summer my sister and I took a road trip across the US. Along the way, we visited some of the most beautiful parks in the nation. As a wedding & elopement photographer, I absolutely could not pass up the opportunity to force my sister into a dress to get some bridal photos in these gorgeous spots.

Meagan Kelly Designs was generous enough to let us use one of her custom designed gowns for a whole month as we traveled around. Between her beautiful design and my sister’s (Victoria Steffens) modeling skills, we captured some great shots that I am excited to show off! So, here we go.

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite was one of our first stops. There was a huge forrest fire happening while we were there, so we didn’t get to go to some of the most popular spots in the park, but the Yosemite Valley was absolutely stunning, so I’m not complaining. We had such a great time running around the park and twirling around in this perfect gown.

The Grand Canyon

Later in the trip we met up with a friend of mine at the Grand Canyon. These were taken on a whim right before we were headed to another destination. I’d say it was worth the 20 minute intermission!

Arches National Park

And last but not least, I was able to convince Victoria to put on the dress one more time for this breathtaking location. The grandeur of the arch accompanied by the red clay that characterizes Moab, Utah lent itself to some of my favorite images from the trip.

We had such an amazing time taking on this little project & I hope you were able to enjoy it!

LETS DO THIS!

I believe photography is much more than creating beautiful images – it’s about the connection that you share as a couple and the human connection that we also share that will aid in capturing images that are representative of you and your unique love.

My goal is always to show a unique perspective on what makes this time in your life so beautiful. Lets learn more about each other and share in each other’s lives. Lets laugh with the good and capture the hard times for what they are. Lets set our sight on the beauty of what is happening in the present, so years down the road you can relive the joy and love of this season through images that represent you well.
