I haven’t photographed many sessions at Hanging Rock State Park and let me tell you, this location is a gem. It is easily accessible (there is an elevator if you choose to skip the stairs to the top), has a gorgeous backdrop and has plenty of options around the property. Natasha & David dressed perfectly for this gorgeous location and we had a ton of fun finding new spots around this new location.

Natasha & David chose to wear one formal outfit and one more laid back outfit, which I always think is a great choice. I allow up to 2 outfits for a session and my biggest tip is to wear clothes that represent you & make you feel good in your skin. We offer a What to Wear Guide to all of our clients (both for Ashley Steffens Photography & The Remnant Collective clients) & they did a great job finding what felt like them without taking the focus off of them.

All of that to say, this was a fun, well put together session & I am so excited to share it with all of you!

I believe photography is much more than creating beautiful images – it’s about the connection that you share as a couple and the human connection that we also share that will aid in capturing images that are representative of you and your unique love.

My goal is always to show a unique perspective on what makes this time in your life so beautiful. Lets learn more about each other and share in each other’s lives. Lets laugh with the good and capture the hard times for what they are. Lets set our sight on the beauty of what is happening in the present, so years down the road you can relive the joy and love of this season through images that represent you well.
