I can’t say enough about this couple & their love for one another. Honestly, I feel like the luckiest photographer in the world – I seem to get all of the absolute coolest, most down to earth couples & I wouldn’t trade that for the world.
Alexandra & Nick chose to get married and Nick’s grandma’s house in Asheville – and once I arrived I completely understood why. The trees, gorgeous home & beautiful interior were incredible. Plus, the sense of family & belonging would make anyone tear up. Even in the room Alex got ready, there were portraits of generations of brides on the wall – how special is that?
How freaking perfect did Alexandra look? I can’t handle it! Plus, watching Nick get ready with his mom & sister was so incredibly sweet – it is obvious that this family very deeply loves one another.
As if the getting ready moments weren’t emotion enough, then we had our first look! Nick’s face says it all – there is no girl in the world who doesn’t want a man to look at her with such excitement on their day.
The ceremony took place under a big, old oak tree. For generations, family members had gotten married under this tree. The symbolism that came with their ceremony brought me to tears… more than once. What can I say… genuine love & meaningful ceremonies still get me EVERY TIME.
This event was more beautiful than I even know how to say. Love and good vibes were flowing all day… can we just go back?
