Summer Cross-Country Road Trip // Personal Photos

I am so excited to share these images from our summer cross-country road trip! I’ve broken down the trip into the different locations I visited. The first few locations I traveled by myself, which was such a refreshing experience. Then from San Francisco on I traveled with my sister. We had the time our lives, met people along the way & did a little sisterly bickering as expected (always ending in hugs and love, of course). The only spot we didn’t get any photos of was Las Vegas (no need to explain that… right?).

Before we get to the photos, I am also including a video featuring footage from the trip. Everyone on this website probably knows I am a photographer (duh), but I actually went to school for cinematic arts! I LOVE telling stories in the form of video, and I am excited to share that with you too! This feels like you’re getting a little glimpse into my heart… travel and story telling make me light up. So, here it goes:

STOP ONE – YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

STOP TWO – SEATTLE, WA

STOP THREE – PORTLAND & THE OREGON COAST

STOP FOUR – CRATER LAKE

STOP FIVE – THE REDWOOD FORREST

STOP SIX – SAN FRANCISCO, CA

STOP SEVEN – BIG SUR, CA

STOP EIGHT – YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK

STOP NINE – LOS ANGELES, CA

STOP TEN – GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK

STOP ELEVEN – HORSESHOE BEND & ZION NATIONAL PARK

STOP TWELVE – BRYCE NATIONAL PARK

STOP THIRTEEN – ARCHES NATIONAL PARK

STOP FOURTEEN – LAS VEGAN, NV

…. welp, thats all we got hahaha

STOP FIFTEEN – SANTA FE, NM

STOP SIXTEEN – SAN ANTONIO, TX

STOP SEVENTEEN – NEW ORLEANS, LA

This trip was unforgettable, to say the least. I have always loved culture and learning about other ways of life outside of my own, and its amazing how many cultures you can experience just within our country! No two places are alike, and there is something intimidating yet comforting about the diversity in our world & country. If you are planning your own trip, feel free to ask me any questions – this was quite the on taking… but it was so worth every penny, second spent planning, moments of questioning my personal hygiene & well being, and everything that it took to make this happen.

I will also be sharing a part 2 to this post featuring all the bridal photos we took of Victoria in an awesome gown by Meagan Kelly designs in 3 different National Parks – so, be on the lookout for that next!
