We cannot express how much we loved witnessing Lillie & Theo’s elopement day. It was untraditional, spontaneous, stress-free & full of joy. These two are such a fun, laid-back couple & their family/friends are pretty much the coolest people ever. We were so thankful to capture their connection with each other, their sweet son, & their closest loved ones.

It was a rainy day in Uptown Charlotte, but that didn’t keep these two from having fun & making the most out of every moment. We explored the city, laughed a lot, & made so many lasting memories.

Lillie was basically the bride of our dreams. She rolled with the rain & rocked it. We asked her if she’d give us some advice for other brides & she said, “BE FLEXIBLE! Things happen. Rain happens. Blow outs get ruined. Don’t sweat it.”

Lillie & Theo described their love for each other as, “Endless adventure and new experiences. It’s what we promise each other every day, and what we do. Together and apart, we’re partners in adventure.”

A little backstory, Theo and Lillie were friends in culinary school and then fell in love on accident, you know how it goes. They just realized they hated not being married to each other. They decided to have a surprise wedding with their closest friends, with dinner afterwards at the restaurant where they spent their first anniversary.

We were holding back the happy tears when they surprised the people they loved most with the news! So much emotion & pure excitement.

Thank you Lillie & Theo for allowing us to capture this special day of your lives. Wishing you the happiest, full life of adventure & love.

LETS DO THIS!

I believe photography is much more than creating beautiful images – it’s about the connection that you share as a couple and the human connection that we also share that will aid in capturing images that are representative of you and your unique love.

My goal is always to show a unique perspective on what makes this time in your life so beautiful. Lets learn more about each other and share in each other’s lives. Lets laugh with the good and capture the hard times for what they are. Lets set our sight on the beauty of what is happening in the present, so years down the road you can relive the joy and love of this season through images that represent you well.
